My Brother-In-Law

My sister married my wife's brother. My sister was the maid of honor in my wedding and my wife's brother was the best man. They fell in love and later married and stay married until my sister died in her forties of brain cancer. My brother wore blue suede shoes to our wedding. I am not certain that my wife has entirely forgiven him yet.

After World War II I was drafted and served in the 4 Infantry Division in Germany. I was stationed at Schweinfurt and went to T.I. & E. School at Dachau. Germany was wonderful. My brother-in-law was not so fortunate. He went to Korea.

From that time on, he would never allow pizza or sauerkraut in the house. Said it smelled like Korea.....
